Highest hp bone stock s2k
What’s the highest horse power bone stock ap1 or ap2 that you’ve seen a dyno plot of?
ive got a guy in a fb group with a plot that shows 219. I just find it hard to believe.

A knowledgeable operator could get some pretty interesting numbers out of most cars on a dyno by fiddling with parameters. I would probably respond to him with "cool story bro, what's it run in the quarter?" since it's hard to fake an ETA and trap speed.
Car can make tons of power and be slow....there's still a person driving it....
OP.
I would probably just try getting into pointless arguments on instagram instead.
My buddy joined us for a dyno day on two separate occasions with two different s2k's on the same dynojet. He dynoed within 1hp at 224whp with both his 05 which was bone stock and current 07 with a slight afr and vtec correction via hondata tuned by himself. There were other s2k's with bolt ons and tunes making several less peak power then him for what its worth. He had some strong s2k's. They were both low mileage excellent examples. You likely wont see an f20 putting that kind of power down on a dynojet stock. Maybe a hub dyno.

The only think we can determine from lots of dynos and ECU swaps is that the S2000 seemed to get a bit more hp every ~2 years.
Might be related to the changes in the car that were made:
02-03 - ECU update seemed to give a bit more hp (leaner, more responsive)
04-05 - new engine, drive train and ECU made a bit more hp (like ~10hp over AP1s)
06+ - ECU gave a bit more hp
08 - ECU update, more hp?

^Interesting, I wasn't aware that people considered the '06 ECU to make more power than '04 even *without* a re-flash...and I definitely hadn't heard that the '08 ECU might make even more still! But there does appear to be a new ECU part # for '08 (though the '06 part number is also shown being as applicable for '08, including the CR).
Besides ECU, I think most people agreed that the CR exhaust was worth 2-3 peak hp... So if all of that's true, a "strong" CR could theoretically make as much as, say, 3+10+3+3+3=22 hp (!!) more than an "average" '00-'01...?!
