Default His anyone applied tint on an 02'?

Just wondering if anyone has installed tint on an 02' before. It is the rear window that I am kinda worried about. With the top up, there really isn't any room for the installer to work with...the roll bars are in the way as well. For those who has applied tint, did the installer have to remove the seats to be able to work inside?

Thanks.

BTW: what do you guys think about a light tint on a Black S2000?

even if the installer removed the seats (four bolts each), that still wouldn't provide much room to work with. its just difficult to get to. its possible, just not a fun job to do.

Had mine tinted about a week ago. I don't know how they did the back window but it looks great. I went over the whole car when they finished and I could not be any happier. Lifetime warranty as well.

this isn't a big deal, people - just put the roof halfway up and you can get to it easily - there's very little pressure exerted in the tinting process, so it's not a hard job... unless your tinter is a contortionist and volunteers - course the hardtop was easy - we just took it off the car

had mine tinted an hour before I took delivery. Everything went fine. I had them do it at the dealership, rear window included. you shouldn't have any problems- I've had my car since Nov 8th and everything still looks great as far as the tint goes...

oh yeah, the car looks great too...

Don't know if you've checked...but with the top half-way up, there's actually LESS room to work with.

Anyway, I just got my tint done yesterday...and it went very well. I ended up going with 70%...relatively light. Since my S is black on black, the tint just blends everything together. To me it looks much better.
