Default Hit a curb last night...

A friend was driving my car last night.......while making a left from a stop light he rode over the middle divider curb.
Although there is no physical damage it was quite a scare given my car is now 1000 miles old....
today when i was driving the car i felt that it was drifting slightly to the right.
could there have been possible alignment damage???
i think its totally up in my head but i was wondering if major damage could have been done in situations like this.

FYI the car was moving at about 5mph....

Advice needed...thanx!

It's probably in your head road are angled to right a little for water runoff, but you should probably still check it out just in case. unless your steering wheel is shaking or it really goes to the right. I doubt there is any problem.

If the curb was angled and speed was only 5 MPH, there's probably no damage. Can't hurt to have the alignment checked though.

This is why I don't let others drive my car (well maybe only some attractive females). I lost a 750 Ninja once to a friend, an experienced motorcyclist, who asked to take my bike for a quick spin. He wrecked it, and despite his having a broken collar bone and several other abrasions, all I could think was "I can't believe he ruined my Ninja". Our friendship never recovered.

so, let me get this strait. your friend was driving your car. were you in the passenger seat?
he/she/it was at a stop light, light turns green, friend depresses gas peddle and accelerates over a dividing curb at 5 miles per hour.
how tall was the curb? how long was it? was the car launched perpendicular. or at an angle to the curb?
was drifting/sideways motion/fishtailing experienced when this occurred?
what was the acceleration rate from 0 to 5 miles per hour?
did the car bottom out on the curb?

i concur with all of the other above statements, you might need an alignment. get the wheels checked also.
