hit a curb while parking today
I feel your pain as well... Where I live apparently contractors don't tie down there materials (b/c there is always shit on the road) and a van shot a metal band that holds an air duct in the celling at my from bumper and it skimmed my front lip and "fang" on the front bumper luckily most of it buffed out! I hate having a nice car lol, makes you sick.
yeah you might want to check out your steering it might be screwed now and look into you SRS system it should have gone off and while your at it you might want to change out your rear diff it probably broke also and you right rear tail light is now going to go out.
dude you just scraped your bumper unless you slammed into the curb and heard metal and stuff breaking its just a scrape. And your driving an S yikes. Holly crap they let anybody drive now a days i guess common sense aint common..........

I know it's a bit late to say this, but I always back into parking spots.
Backing in is generally safer for various reasons, not to mention the rear is higher and you would only end up nudging the tires.
If it's one of the slanted parking spots, then those are usually big enough for me to keep my front far away from the curb
Anyway ... sorry to hear about the damage, but nevertheless, you have done no serious damage do the car. The oil pan and all the junk are much further back ... and Honda wouldn't put anything that's crucial up the front given how easy it is to scrape it

I'm actually used to backing into spaces in a tC and a Celica, which are bigger cars... dunno how that works. =( Maybe the turning radius is so significant that I over/under estimate? Or maybe the drive-by-wire eliminating the feeling of the tires turning causes that too.
yeah, I'm going to use all of those excuses. >_>
^^
also... I figure if I scratch my front too much, I'll add a lip. LOL. gives you a good excuse right?
