lol... being a new s2k owner, I'm ashamed to say that I'm not used to backing up into parking spaces yet. Usually takes me 3-5 points to get it how I want it...
I'm actually used to backing into spaces in a tC and a Celica, which are bigger cars... dunno how that works. =( Maybe the turning radius is so significant that I over/under estimate? Or maybe the drive-by-wire eliminating the feeling of the tires turning causes that too.
yeah, I'm going to use all of those excuses. >_>
^^
also... I figure if I scratch my front too much, I'll add a lip. LOL. gives you a good excuse right?

well, the S's rear view is a bit ... limited if you have AP2 soft top up. But either case, I must agree my backing-into-a-parking job is definitely worse on my S than on my other cars.
I never had problems with my E-class ... but I'm suspecting it has to do with the fact that the S has a pretty bad turning radius, making things a bit less flexible?
i remember when i first started driving..backing into parking lots felt easier then going in straight it was weird..
but thats what i would especially if you sitting loww.
i back my brothers car (tC) all the time into parking lots..
i havent really attempted with my car yet (1986 BMW 635CSi), its a pretty long car.
