Hit Deer
About two weeks ago I hit a small deer at about 45mph. The short story is nobody hurt(deer excepted) and about $900 damage to the front end. The front bumper cover needed replacing along with the grill and some metal parts.
I had been concerned about paint matching on the plastic bumper cover. Some people here said it needed to blended and others said no. My repair guy said they wouldn't blend unless they had to, prefering not to get into good paint.
Just picked the car up and the paint matching on the bumper is perfect to my eye. The painting was done off the car and no blending was done. This may be because the car is fairly new and fading wasn't a problem. Anyway I'm happy.
