A dyno number by it self is useless unless you are comparing before and after mods on the same day or are comparing several cars from the same day. There is too much variance in one dyno to the next. Drive across town and hit a different dyno and you'll get a completely different number.

And Lotus7racer doesn't know what he's talking about. If you got a high end header like the J's, and a single outlet 70mm exhaust (and put on your stock intake or get a real cold air one), you'll be near 230.
Yes! for sure I don't know what I am talking about, however I asked this question many times in different S2000 forums, none were able to come out to say "honestly" traditional hot rodding can attain 25hp in this car. I mean traditional, without replacing the pistons and camshaft or forced induction.
Again, if you replace your exhaust, air filter, ecu or whatever bolt on you want (within reasonable budget), can you harness 25hp ? If you will spend $3,000 to attain that 25hp, then don't even mention.
Can you say to everyone 25hp is attainable using common bolt on?
I love to hear 'yes' but I don't know if this is just a dream.
Other might dispute you, other might agree with you.
My AP1 baselined at 198HP at the crank, peak, bone stock, on a DynaPack. Next week, I'm getting a new piggyback Greddy e-Manage Ultimate ECU. I'm expecting about 10HP, maybe. We'll see. 25HP is not easy to get without boosting. Maybe versionJDM can be more specific. Anyway, I'll report back after my new e-Manage is installed.
