Sorry to hear, I'd leave the car there as long as you can, remind her what happened every time she steps out her door.

 

You should park horizontally across her driveway. Have your friend move his car and pull up across the driveway to match up the damage. Take pictures.

If you can get both cars in one picture, with the damage lined up... BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT!
