I find it difficult to believe security wouldn't help you. Did you talk with the head of the department?

 

I agree, security is just being lazy. They don't need a court order to rewind and look, that's BS. Somebody's been watching too much TV.

 

the thing is.. i guess these things happen all the time in vegas.. so if anything were to happen to your car.. they have signs posted up everywhere saying that they are liable for anything that happens to your car.. for all i know.. the cameras that they were using were not even turned to face the location of my car.. i did talk to the head of security and pretty much he couldn't do anything.. Security guards are just a false sense of security... just goes to show that you cant always protect your car.. no matter how safe you drive no matter how long you keep it in the garage.. it just takes one jackoff to hit your car when it's parked somewhere.. but hey what can you do.. it's just a car.. i just have to suck it up, get it fixed, and move on with my life.. no use crying over a crushed door when i still have my health..

I don't know much about bodywork, but I'm pretty sure you're not going to bang that out. You need to be a pretty good bodyman to even get a ding popped back out without leaving any sign of it.

When the metal is creased like that, you may as well start with a fresh slate.

yeah.. my door i ordered though ebay never got shipped to me.. so i got lucky and got one from DavGoat.. it's said to come on tuesday.. and ill just have to get a lil touch up paint for the scratch by the door jam.. ill take after pics!

I just got my car back last week after the drivers door got wasted by an SUV that fled the scene. The only witness didnt get the plate and there were no cameras whatching. You gotta be able to get that video man, its evidience of the accident and the only way your gonna catch who did it.

BTW I bought a silverstone salvage door for $300 with everything in it. It cost $300 to have it painted black.
