Default Hit a tree last night.

MY00.

Hit patch of ice while driving downhill. Car swung left then right then left then right again. Glanced off a curb and caught traction and rocketed across the street over a curb and into the tree.

Aftermath:

Totaled? I think so.

If so, I will be buying it back for a part out.

Car has a brand new AP2 transmission w/ less than 8k miles and a bunch of other goodies.

Geez, you ok? Sorry to hear. What tires were you running?

Always sad to see a smashed S.

I have the same tires on my car now. Very good winter rubber, but ice + incline is never good. Best of luck with insurance/buyback.

that's terrible man, hate seeing these accidents, I HATE THAT WHITE CHIT, was out in the rover today, it was snowing little pellets of ice and made the roads very slippery. i was purposely slamming my brakes on the rover to practice and experience that feeling to be able to better react if i ever really found myself in a situation like that and what i learned was not to slam my brakes. As soon as i let off the brakes i got traction back. But of course not the same conditions as ice on a downhill.

Sucks man. Looks like it would be totaled I would think. Doesn't take much to total these cars!
