You have to be very careful with your speed downhill. Even lifting off the gas while downhill in the sketch can cause the rear to break traction and rotate.

I'll never winter drive another S2000 without VSA.

Indeed. If I were daily driving an S, it would be one with VSA.

Luckily, mine is garaged and covered during the winter and on rainy days.

So sad to see. Just another reason why I would never drive an S in snow, even on winter tires.

Sad to hear, but glad you are ok. List the partout in the for sale section when you are ready. Of course, take the appropriate mourning period for the beautiful machine you just lost!

I will indeed be considering a full part out as I highly doubt my insurance settlement is going to be satisfactory.

The car is being replaced with a MBZ SL500.
