Please stop saying it sounds like the g35 or 350z...I take that as an insult and you might drive away potential buyers.

This is the very first thought that passed through my head when I first drove off. From 3,000-5,000, it really did sound similar to a 350Z, IMO. Not necessarily in tone, but the way you can here the exhaust "burble". Individual pulses of air, as opposed to a constant sound. It is very audible outside the car, or inside with the top down. Driving close to an object (in a tunnel, next to solid objects) sounds incredible.

Not an insult at all.

I doubt that any of the three exhausts have a "high-pitched" tone. None have the harsh raspiness associated with a single (or the loudness for that matter). I think the Fujitsobo is the quietest, the Sparrow and the HKS are probably on par for loudness. But they have a different sound as well. The HKS is DEEP. Oh, so deep.

Like everyone else has said, above 80mph your engine will definitely be louder than the exhaust. I cruise at 70mph and it is only slightly louder than stock when it is in 6th gear at about 4k rpm. HKS really has no drone when you are cruising above 60-65mph in 6th .

It really does sound like a G35 stock exhaust.

But it only is audible to me when the engine is cold ;(

I agree, when the engine is cold, the lower revs sound a little g35ish. Very smooth and high pitch. After it warms up, it gets much deeper.

Wait until your car is broken in and you can hear the full sound of the stock exhaust (which is very nice IMO).
