Red face HKS F-CON V PRO

Dear everyone, if u are using the HKS F-CON V PRO or know someone who is using the HKS F-CON V PRO please let me know if I really need to visit a dealer in the US to have that thing tuned or if I can do it on my own. I am from Dubai and the drive to the states might get to long for me
So any comments are highly appreciated,

thanx in advance!!

the only member that I can recall that used the F-con was hybrid something... this was almost 2 years ago......
Why dont you just tune with the aem. The f-con is still a piggy back...

f con s is piggy back, f con v pro is a full standalone can also be wire as piggy back, very fast processor, 32bit. I 'm using the v pro right now, but not on my s2k, i switch from powre fc to a v pro, will find out shortly if it will made more power. from what i see and heard from a well know tuner places like xs-engineering and Sp-engineering the F con v pro is a better computer.

Tech2drew also runs the v pro on his SCed car, he said he liked it. The HKS made the fcon piggy back because they felt that there was no point in having it run all the little things like a/c and such. In terms of features and tuning capabilities it has alot to offer. for the moeny and since there is alot more experience with AEM EMS i would use that thats just my opinion though

thanx for the reply guys...it looks like u've got me wrong..I know WHAT it is and what it can do, all I need to know is if I can tune it on my own or does it realy require the dealers software like mentioned here :

http://www.hksusa.com/categories/more.asp?id=1933

so as you see the link above well describes what it is and how it works, but since I am from Dubai and we have only 3 dynos here at all (1 does not work at all and other 2 are used by idiots) and maybe 20 s2k asross the whole united arab emirates, I need to know if this will be a usefull mod to work on the A/F ratios, play around with the timing and redline etc. Please dont tell me I can adjust the A/F by using the VAFC, I know that. I just want to have a advance tool, more agressive timing and a preset ECU ala Amuse will not help me to tune the car according to my set-up and our climate...we have extreme hot weater 9-10 month in a year
I have PMed Tech2drew but no reply so I was just wondering if you have any feedback.

So again and simple, I am NOT from US, we do NOT have a HKS dealer here and I DO NOT have any kind of soft to operate the system.
I have a Spoon header, T1R ex with test pipe, AEM V2 and 4.57 gearsm on a EU spec 2003 model..all I want to do is squezzzzze the best out of this setting, I am runing 98 octane only.

P.S. if you have a problem with my spelling, think about the name of this web page, it says s2k INTERNATIONAL

you will have to have the sofeware to tune f con pro, you don't have the key to unlock it, only the f con pro dealer does. you best bet is to get a ecu/chip from someone in the state or japan, someone can offer rom tune and tune it to your mods. made sure you tell them tune it for 98 octan. closest thing we got here are cool blue 100. try to give xs-engineering.com a call.
