Default Home-made mod: good or bad?

What do you guys think of this mod? I drilled a few holes on the plastic panels in front of the intake. Hopefully, that should provide more air currents into the intake and engine bay. Maybe because of that, my engine bay is never hot or warm; maybe a tiny bit warm after a long trip, but that's all. Here's a pic:

Good or bad? Actually, I'm in the process of designing the best intake system in the world for S2000. Hopefully I'll be able to get it patented and sell it here. That'd be nice!

I'm not sure but I think that panel was meant to direct the air to the radiator, so in essence you're probably making things worse.

BAD

Knowing how to use a power drill does not imbue one with more design know-how than an automotive engineer.

Dude, they're called "speed holes"!

But this reminds me of the guy that wanted an 11-inch Honda badge to cover up the scratches he made on his hood - it turns out he used a hammer and chisel to take off his OE 'H' badge.

BAD! That slanted air guide is there for a reason. It's to "guide" the bulk of the air into the rad and "prevent" it from going over it.
Can't wait to see your "best intake system in the world". Hopefully, it won't have anything to do with the car's heater core.
