Default honda car care days

fyi...

it looks like honda is doing their honda car care days thing again. schedule an appt w/your local honda dealer for a free 40-pt inspection. flyer says the inspection includes:

- thorough examination of engine, brakes, drivetrain, sustpension and steering components
- detailed report of car condition
- mini first-aid kit (while supplies last)

also, only at participating dealers nationwide.

Free. Right, until they find all those things "wrong" with your car. I hate dealerships.

I need to do my 15k inspection of all the underside components, but it's been too cold to sit out there inspecting boots, etc. Maybe I will take advantage of this

yeah i dunno...we've all heard the numerous horror stories about honda dealerships and s2000s. guess it depends on how much you trust your specific dealership/mechanic. i'm thinkin about it.

Sorry some of you have had a bad experience at your local dealership. Here is a tip though, don't have them run the car through their "express change" bays. Have a tech do the inspections and oil changes. It may take a little while to do but I think it would be a good piece of mind. Also a walk around inspection by the service writer should be done as soon as your car comes into the drive. This is done to look for dents so if anything does happen they know that it wasn't there before. The cost of attracting new customers is way higher than keeping current ones.

You guys are crazy. It is a time to get a free inspection of your car, and build relations with your Honda dealer - that's a good thing!

Most manufacturers do not do anything for their customers who already bought a car. It is truly sad how immature the posters continue to get on S2Ki .......yes, I'm calling the ability to stare a gift horse in the mouth and say no as immature.
