Are the emblems between AP1 years different?

On Handa Accessories website, their emblems fit only 2000-2001. Is this a mistake? or is there an actual difference? I dont see why 02-03 would be any different...

They should be all the same.

 

I believe the 02-03 emblems are bigger then the previous models.

 

The mounting tabs are different. Check Rick's website on the emblem install, it shows how they clip in differently.

 

Actually, they are different....


'00 and '01 had a smaller badge... the badge grew in '02...


now.. I think it's the size of the Ridgeline badge

So, besides the size difference, are the holes (on the front bumper) diameter/distance the same?

Will handa's badges "fit" a MY02 even thought its smaller?

Yes they are different. The size and the width distance of the prongs on the back of the emblem.

If you buy the older emblems you will have to shave the prongs off the back and adhese it to the car. Otherwise, go to the dealership and get the newer emblems that are a little larger and the prongs on the back are a little wider.
