Default Debadging question

I've been thinking in debadging my S and I was wondering of there is any holes on the body to hold the badge or it's smooth under the badge. Also I might get some red type R badge instead, will any Honda badge will work for the front and back?

Yes, there are holes in both front and rear. The width of the posts on the badges are different for each one. You'll have to test fit them to be sure of fitment, but the Type R badges are not for this car so it may or may not fit.

You CAN get color-matched badges from HandA accessories. Those badges are resin filled in the center and much easier to clean.

You can remove the "S2000" badge on the side of the car though, there are no holes behind it.

i would debadge the "s2000" on the sides and get the red "H" for the front and rear from HandA...since they are genuine honda parts and year specific its a perfect fit...

Actually the rear badge is NOT in the bumper at all, it is on the trunk. The front bumper is VERY easy for a body shop to fill because of the bumper cover.

The trunk is metal so is a little trickier to do, but still very doable for a reputable body shop.

As noted the side badges are easily removed as they are just held on with adhesive. Personally, I don't like the look of the side marker without the side badges, it makes it look too big. If you managed to find flat side markers, or had them shaved too, then the running without the side badges looks great.
