Honda Factory Options For '05 Model Year
I'm looking to do a couple genuine Honda upgrades to my S2k this year, and I'm just trying to clarify whether the parts I want to use were actually factory options for my model year (2005).
They are:
- Front Under Spoiler
- Side Strakes
- Titanium Shift Knob
I tried googling but couldn't find the info I was looking for. I realize these are genuine Honda parts, again I just want to know if they were factory options for the '05 model year or not.

Those are dealer installed options. The only factory option for that model year is paint color. The S2000 has never had any options at all in the North American market. All options were dealer add-ons. Once the CR came out, then there was the option of standard S2000, S2000CR with air and audio and S2000CR without air and audio. Still, those were three separate models.

There are factory options and dealer add ons. The only factory option for the s2000 in 05 was color. The dealer would sell and "install" add ons like the hard top, shift knobs, body kits, car cover, hard top stand, behind the seat organizer, and trunk net. All exhorbitantly overpriced money makers for the dealer and easy to install. (excepting the hardtop) They are , however, genuine Honda parts and subject to warranty.
