Honda Fit, COOL Functional key
hello everyone,
just got my chance of seeing the all new FIT. I noticed that it comes with an alarm/door unlocking mechanism that is integrated into the key. Much like the more expensive higher end cars like BMW and Lexus.
I was wondering if we can order the key from Honda, and cut it so that it starts our own S2000 ignition and program it so that it unlocks doors, and activate alarm.
what does everyone think? sorry, i dont have a pic to show you, what the key looks like. just imagine the black part of your key being a little thicker and with buttons (im sure we've all seen those kinda keys). i just want get rid of that extra accessory thats included in our S2000, since it reminds me of being stuck in the 80s.

i actually prefer a separate key and door lock fob.....that way i can hand someone the door lock fob to fetch something from the trunk without having to worry about him taking my car for a test drive

Yes, I've seen these keys for Accords too, and I like them a lot. However, on checking into it, I've learned that they won't work on the S2000 (at least not without modification to the ignition/immobilizer system).
