Honda hi temp urea grease
I might catch some flak for this, but based on cursory research, I'd say Redline CV-2 would be a good alternative. These Urea grease shortages have been a phenomenon throughout the years; plenty of threads on various forums looking for alternatives when there's a worldwide shortage of the stuff. I know the Urea grease is great stuff; among the best....but I couldn't imagine having such a specific formulation strictly for their own vehicles...Plenty of other manufacturers probably have their own greases formulated to operate at an even higher threshold than what Honda would need, I'd imagine..think Porsche GT cars, etc. Wonder what they use? There's definitely gotta be an alternative, but someone will need to do their due diligence when it comes to comparing specifications and compound makeup...I can't imagine Honda holding a worldwide monopoly on a specific grease with no alternative.
Maybe Lucas Oil Extra Heavy Grease or John Deere Multi Purpose SD Polyurea Grease?
I’ve been on my local Honda dealership High Temp Urea grease part waitlist for 6-9 months. Any insights as to what actual Honda dealership shops are using as an alternative? Would surely think they have a daily need for a high temp urea grease for a variety of repair needs.

I still have the little tub from the last clutch change... still pretty full (prolly 80-90% full). I would think they last a long time (unless you're a professional mechanic)... a little goes a long way. It's not like you're putting a bunch on, just for it to sling off during operation.
my buddy is a honda tech and he told me their dealership doesn't even provide it. they just use whatever generic stuff. found this out when i asked about replenishing my supply.
my three must haves are the urea grease, shin-etsu grease and EPT sealer foam.

For the shifter: Basically, all you need is a Plastic-friendly Hi-Temp grease. It should not affect the plastic parts and dont drip away when the gearbox heats up.
There are silicone Greases (Some with PTFE) out there. Worth a try?
I have used Silicone grease in my del Sol for exact this purpose, greasing the shifter, with succes. Difference to the S2000 is the heat from the gearbox wich you dont have in the del Sol.
