AHM seems to not be as good in this area as their Japanese competitors. For example, Mazda, Toyota and Nissan Motorsports all support their racers better at the Valvoline Runoffs (SCCA National Championship) than Honda does, and that track (Mid Ohio) is considered Honda's home track, what with Marysville being just a few miles down the road. Shameful, I think. Mazda has a great performance "club" with a great website for displaying their parts and member discounts. Toyota is similar. Nissan has a motorsports division, that while not on the web, is replete with a knowledgeable and helpful staff, and they still have a great printed catalog.

Dedicated, longtime Honda enthusiasts and racers get little or no financial support, little parts help, little development support.... Honda owners get even less than this, it seems.

BTW: that's why we race a Nissan instead of a Honda. I do love Honda though. Honda Japan is awesome; we just lose something over here in the translation.

Truth be told, I started thinking about getting on after Rasputin314 told me he got his. I am a Honda nut, but never actually seriously considered buying one. But one Weds night, March 14th 2001 actually, I asked my g/f: "what if I were to buy one?" she said "it'd be cool". So that night, I found this forum, next day, I bought one.

Thanks Joe.

I saw Jennifer Lovve Hewitt in Heartbreaker's and I was sold. That is honestly what sold me on the car. It was also the first time I ever saw or heard of the car.

I've personally talked three people into buying our cars, shamelessly promoting it every chance I get.

I want my check Honda, or at least a pat on the back.

One night, a car followed me home and then blocked in my driveway when I parked in the garage. I was on the verge of freaking out when the guy and his young son get out of the car and walk up smiling, asking questions about the car. We converse, turns out he lives in my neighborhood too.

Three weeks later, he pulls up in a black/black, said mine convinced him I also got my brother to get his, does that count?
