There are a few seat options (not just the stitiching, etc) from my understanding.

I have seen JDM S2Ks with:

1. Full leather seats (like USDM ones)

2. Leather on the sides but fabric in the middle, kinda like the bride ergos (I have those)

3. Vinyl seats (I was totally going ????????? when I saw that ...)

4. Full leather seats, but the seats have patterned leather (in diamond shapes?) in the middle section

5. TypeS / CR seats

 

In germany we have 3 different leather options for the MY08 as well.. but different than in UK from what I see..

We have black, brown and red (all red). but without the fancy red stiches.

in the MY07 we had red+black as well (they have discontinued it in 2008)

Ah.. and of course we have the F20C with the AP2 chassis. I guess nobody over here would understand an F22C downgrade, we are more radical-addicts than torque-freaks i guess

 

yea i heard the s2k has been like #1 rated car for top gear viewers for 3 yrs or something like that...i heard my friend talking about it it was #1 for something i cant really remember though

I cannot find the 2004 survey but the S2000 was the first as well..

2006 is the last survey made (lets see how the 2007 survey looks like)

 

actually japan had the brown stiched leather seats in the 06 model year.
they also had (or still have, don't know, haven't been there since 06) a very GTI like bottom flat steering wheel (GASP, wanna have) and apparently two different options for the power steering - one has a variable gearset, apparently similar to what BMW markets as active steering.
maybe we get a final edition here in the us, that has all the gadgets. more likely not.

wth you people have anything to complain about when you can literally get a brandnew 07 S2k for under 28k? We pay at least 45k here for that, and even more expensive gas. I believe in Australia and UK they pay more too? Gosh... people take shits for granted too easily. With the price I paid for my used MY04, I could easily get a brandnew car in the US.

 

Not to mention we get screwed by being forced to take a 2.2 when most of the world still gets a happy 9k red 2.0.

IMHO there's no such thing as a "better" car or else everybody in the world with a positive IQ would own that car.

People has diferent tastes and needs.. thats why we buy diferent cars..

And after saying that.. the Boxter is overrated in USA I guess.. a real Porsche is a 911.
