Honda s2000 GT edition?
Don't forget about the Gioire S2000, Since we're on the topic of exclusive/rare S2000's.

So out of all the different models and special editions, none of them had a better performing engine?
Would the CR be considered a Type R if it had a higher performance engine? Since it is lighter, has different suspension and interior.

What did the UK GT edition have that the standard UK model didn't?
You've never heard of Google?

My point is that for Honda to release a special edition 10 years later and with the improvements and tweaks they made, they decided to put the famous and more distinctive 9000 rpm engine in it. From a purist standpoint, the original engine was truly distinctive at the time with its hp per liter and 9000 redline. The Ap2 0r 2.2liter engine was a response to please some of the U.S. market.
Heh, if it had an engine built be a single person, with parts they personally selected for balance and production quality, and it was rated to produce, say, 260 PS, I personally wouldn't be disinclined to calling it a Type R.
Does anyone have any pics or links to any of these special edition Uk cars? Im not talking about the glossy photo stock from Honda catalogues/brochures but actual real world pics from perhaps lucky owners here on s2ki? That would be awesome to see and hear from real owners of these rare issues...

wow look at what i started lol, but any who; dont you guys think it reminds you of a s2k type r attempt. I always heard that they kept the f20 instead of the f22 b/c it was more fun to drive and i agree (but to be honest, i never test drove a ap2 with f22c hehe)
