Default Honda Sales Up...And Down

According to J.D. Power in the paper today, 1st quarter sales for S2000's are down 29%. Accord and Civic are both up substantially. They can't keep Elements and Pilots in stock either. The only Honda products showing a decline is sales are the Insight and S2000.

then there won't be as many s2000's on the road, cool. but why are people not buying this awesome car as much as before??

maybe some people have gone towards the new g35 coupe or 350Z...price ranges and all that.

there is a lot more competition out there now. when the s2000 first came out there was nothing that can compare to it with for price. now you got WRX's, STI is coming out, lancers, 350z's, RX8 is coming out, neon srt4, and others as well. it is a tough market now and can get a lot for your buck on all these cars.

It was an especially long/brutal winter especially in the east coast. Factor in a bad economy and war tensions, and there's no wonder sales are down.

well..... what 02spas2k said is true..... I just came back from the honda dealership and nissan dealership..... I must say the honda guy really knew what he was talking about and gave me the strong points of the s2k and brought up some really valid points, it was excellent service. As for the nissan dealership that guy was a jerk and a moron. He tried to sell me a Nissan Sentra SE-R and when I said I wanted to look at a 350z he said that car cost 30-40grand like I couldn't afford it. When I told him my dad was buying it for me, he told me to ask my dad if he can afford that car. I would choose a S2000 over a 350z anyday... I just went to the Nissan dealership to see if they would give me the s2k bs. It turned out worst, the nissan sales person didn't even know jack about the 350z.

I can't believe he would act like that. He lost out on a potential sale. wel it could have been a sale, he didn't know. I wanna go to a nissan dealership now, hahaha

Results will vary. There are plenty of bad Honda dealerships to go around as well.

What you say is true Iceman. Oh well... I still can't decide..... I think I might go with an 03' Black S2000. I am considering a Supra TT... but it seems cause the car is getting older..... might have to fix minor stuff here and there to return it back to stock conditions. I know I wanna modify my car. So I just don't know now. My friend with the supra suggested that I drive both the S2K and the 350z to see which I like best. I know the supra has much more potential when it comes to mods. Well, when I decide I will let you guys and gals know. =)

Oh yeah, just not to confused anyone... theses are the cars I am looking at buying: MKIV Supra, S2000, 350Z, IS300. Please don't flame me saying I am another spoiled kid that doesn't appreciate cars, that just uses daddy's $$$.
