Does your service dept have all the necessary tools?
I was wondering if anyone else has gone through the same problem I have. I was going to get the TSB #55 done about 3 months ago. Well, the gear came in, and I called them to schedule the appointment. I get a guy on the phone, and he tells me the parts are not in. I say, yes they are, he gives me to the parts dept, they verify, and he says well I don't know.
I then talk to the service manager a few days later (never called me back, this is becoming a trend) and he says they don't have the TOOLS to fix my car. They have my parts, not the tools. I say ok, call me when you get the tools. Well, it has been 3 months, I called them on Monday, and they are unsure if they have everything, the service manager will call me back. Well, I called him back today (trend?) and they are still waiting on one tool. I'm not really miffed, I don't drive the S too much right now, but I do want her to be ready when it gets nice out. I just hate having to track people down when they tell me they will call me back. So he is supposed to call me early next week, let's see if that happens.
I'm supposed to be the first one they are going to do, so we'll see. I'm going to try and get the new clutch disk also, and get them to replace the rear window. I can't get it clean or get the scratches out. I have tried once before to get it replaced and was handed the TSB for the rear window and how to clean it. This time I'm going to be a bit more forceful. Just wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

Don't walk....RUN!
I'm serious, you do not want these guys disassembling your tranny. You need someone who is serious doing this job. Take it from a person who has already been through this. See Lute Riley Honda=Horrible Service thread.

When I had the 1-2 Grind i too was the first one at the dealer I went to. They did not have the right tool to take the tranny apart but they ran around town to find one and got one the day after I brought my car in. It really didnt delay the repair that much and they were straight forward and honest the whole time. I don't mind delays as long as I am informed.
They also did the updated clutch at another time and also replaced my rear window under warranty as a one time good will deal.
