Gil DeFeran in his Penske Racing Reynard Honda set a new closed course speed record of over 241 MPH. That's the average speed of one lap of the California Motor Speedway.

That gives him a bonus point which will be usefull in his championship quest.

TFota, I say old boy, how about meeting at Fontana next year for the final CART race? How many would go for this (without the rain of course!)?

I would fly from the cold, white north (B.C., Canada) for the weekend or a few days. How far would you (others)travel?

 

So did they postpone the race until today (Mon)?? What time??? I watched until Sportscenter came on, don't know what happened after that...
