Mirrors would have been really awesome if they would have been on the production model, such a sweet concept in 1995.

Those wheels are essentially the 16" forged OEM units only available in Japan. A few sets have been brought to the USA by those folks who appreciate their light weight. Glad to say I have a set.

I remember that pic/announcement when I was in HS. Instantly fell in love. But, also knew I'd never own it because it'd fetch a very high premium price. 20 years later, I has! Who woulda thunk.

Usually when I look at a production vehicle and compare it with the concept vehicle that inspired it I find myself wishing that they had kept any number of styling cues from the concept. In the case of the S2000 I can't identify anything on the concept car that I prefer over the car that finally made it to production (except perhaps for the ultra clean looking windshield treatment). Well done Honda.
