Has anyone experimented with customized decals that would fit over the Honda symbol on our steering wheel? Just curious, because it seems like an easy project to add that extra touch of mystery (after you've switched out your emblems with Rick's badges ofcourse )

 

Maybe just some black tape to cover the emblem?

Me too.. I like the added mystery, and it's more personalized that way.

I was thinking decal, b/c I thought I heard somewhere that adding a hard emblem on the steering wheel might pose some safety issues if the airbag were to ever deploy.

Ah well, if no one else has looked in to this I might have to myself

 

Rick has an "S" on the steering wheel of his very custom S2K, but I think there are concerns about anything being between you and the airbag.

 

Doesn't Rick's already offer a steering wheel "S" badge? I remember him developing one that just sticks on...
