Honda's 2 wheel S2000!

[B]So tell me guys how did decide that the S2000 was the one for you? As for me, my first thought was I would go for a car or maybe I should say 4 wheels that could give me the thrill that my 2 (Big Red) wheels give me. I figured that I would just make the transition. The more I thought about giving up bikes for a cage the less I liked that notion. Now my thinking is, Hell just own both. I will admit that the paint and drive-train issues have put me off. I will see how the early 02's are received and go from there. I do want a pipe for the VFR,

I'm not sure if I'd call the RC a 2 wheeled S2K, though, since their engines' characters are quite different. I'd say the F4i is a more valid comparison, since they're both light, agile, and revvy, w/ low torque relative to HP. I'd still rather have a RC51 anyday!
as an old honda racing bike owner from the prehistoric era [cr110,cr91..]i've always thought honda's pure gp bikes were cool...but i got old and out of touch..till a couple years ago i was in the tokyo "honda welcome plaza" and over in the corner was a 1 or 2 year old factory gp bike[ can't remember the model or disp..] jeezus!what a cool item! i remember looking at all the hollow titanium fasteners and the microscopic detailing of the components[each one custom made] for maximum performance and mimimum weight...truly the f-18 of bikes[and it was outdated and shunted off for static display...i can't imagine a current unit..]if they did that treatment to an s2k i'm sure it would cost millions.....
