i would like to learn some more about the reflash. is this useless without mods, or does this configure something different from the stock settings?

Stock I/H: Vtec dropped to 5600 and RPM limit raised to 8500. Minimal gains except at vtec engagement point (nice)

http://www.hondata.com/reflash_s2k_06.html

Price: 600.00, is it worth it? HELL NO...

-----

With Toda Header w/test pipe: Vtec dropped from 6k to 4200, nice mid range gain

http://www.hondata.com/reflash_s2k_toda_header.html

is it worth $600.00? IMO... NO... that's robbery. I would get the emanage and you'll have more fun.

Some of these companies need to rethink what they charge for. To upload a new map takes 30 mins.

wow, i hope your not serious....600 bucks isnt bad for a 14hp gain. seriously. you can spend 600 bucks on an intake that might get you 5hp.

i'm gonna look at my ecu, and see what number it is. i'm just curious as to why some 06's would have different numbered ecu's. maybe someone with some knowledge about this could shed some light.

You are an idiot. Hondata used my S2000 to create the reflash and I can tell you without a doubt that it is more than worth it. The best possible way to modify your ECU variables is through the ECU itself. E-manage is nothing more than a piggy-back system. The Hondata reflash directly changes variables of your ECU, which as I previously stated is optimal.

wow, pretty cool!

now, why do some 06's have different ecu's. do the newer ones have the different ones, vice versa?

I am not sure why the model numbers vary. However, I can tell you, with the utmost certainty, that regardless what model number your MY06/07 ECU is, the Hondata reflash will be 100% compatible.

The web site says that they do not have a reflash for the a11

FROM HONDATA WEB SITE"

Who can use this upgrade?

Any 06 S2000 with the ECU part numbers found on the bar code on the side of the ECU:

* 37820-PZX-A09

We do not have a reflash for 37820-PZX-A11

I've seen many dyno's with emanage and even vafc and can get the same results.

The ONLY difference I see is that your partial throttle settings are permenant.

Toda (900) + test pipe (120) + flash (600) + exhaust (900) + hondata gasket (50) in order to get those results.

when your done that, I will spend an extra grand on FI and walk away.
