All i'm saying is that the Parts alone are giving you much of those gains.
As you can see the stock reflash doesn't net much.
it's just lowering the vtec and dumping more fuel and timing to compensate and give you gains earlier which can be achived by other means.
Plus, I wouldn't want to be the guinea pig for the 8500 rpm. I hope they logged tons of hours on stress test.

I will easily burn a similarly modded AP2 in a straight line shifting at 8500rpm if they're stuck at 8000, suckers!
