Sounds like a great deal. Damitjim had some good advice about accidents.
I have the same thing. I wouldn't sell it for what was mentioned here (18K?). Tires are dead or dying at 15k though....

absolutely, he should do his homework to guaranty he gets the best possible car and at the best possible price, but at the same time shouldn't obsess about about every little thing like someone recently who went crazy looking for an s2k with perfect compression numbers.

well, he's the buyer and he has the final say. All i'm saying is that yes, if everything checks out and the top and everything else you guys mention is in good order, then, yes, it's a go.

Things too good to be true usually are! 2007, 15k, 18,900 asking. No vin sticker left front fender, door, rear quarter. Not a bad repair job and drives straight though. Trying to verify type of damage. Of course, clean carfax showed nothing. Salesman gave a good job of surprise over the repairs. I'm going to call manager to see if he knows origin of damage. I may still make an offer, but too many mint 2000's out there. I'm commited now, just have to find the right one!! Thanks for the helpful comments. I'll keep you folks informed. These are AWESOME vehicles!

There are lots of hits when you google the VIN.

You might want to post what you are looking for in the local FS/WTB thread:

Buy an AP1 for half the price, replace a few things and enjoy 1,000 extra rpm and even crazier suspension\handling.

Atleast test drive one.
