My dealer just called me - Honda has issued a confirmed build date for my 2004 Berlina Black over Black S2000.

The date is September 16. God willing and the creek don't rise, I should see it late October.

Yeah, baby, yeah!

Now I have to call the dealer and read them the riot act about no hot-dogging my cars - it better have very low miles - what are low delivery miles for this car, anyway?

I found some where that the offical release date is 9/15.
But since they ship out of CA or Seattle.
I guess those areas get them the 15th.

My '02 had 6 miles on it when it came off the truck. It was still covered in plastic and stuff, so I doubt it was ever really driven.

I am going to be at the dealership the day that my '04 comes off and make sure that no one takes it out for a joy ride before it is in my posession.

It should only have a few miles on it (~7). I don't think it'll have any more miles than that.

Starting about the second week of October, I'm going to start visiting the dealership every day on the way home from work, looking for any sign of my baby. I don't want them taking any liberties with her!
