Silversurfer,

But...I heard that will a decent amount of $$$, you can turn a S4 into a monster. On the downside...the car is heavy and it's 4 wheel drive...people say it is easy to screw up the transmission or clutch if your S4 is modded and you are a clutch dropper.

zerinS4,

Fill us in with the details! Your S4 has mods...

A stock s2000 and a stock S4 have relatively close 0-60 times man.[/B]
That was what I understood, I'm sure zerinS4 wouldn't mine letting us quantify our speculation.

Wesmaster,

Haha...I love street benchmarking.

But, zerinS4 is all your's bud. I can't hang with him...I heard he has some mods that should put his car in the low 5 second 0-60 MPH.

SilverSurfer,

Dude...you have a good collection of cars getting started there. I'm jealous as a mofo. Hmm..what else should you get next? You have a kick a$$ roadster and sedan. You need a Sportscar next...maybe the 2003 NSX? Haha...just playing. But, if you tell me you are saving for the 2003 NSX...I'm going to cry in jealous rage.

SilverSurfer,

2001 E55 AMG! Dang you! You must have done something right in your previous life! J/k...

I wonder how that would feel like waking up in the morning..."hmmmm is today a S4, Supercharged S2000, or a E55 AMG day?"

For real though...congrats! Take care of those babies for me...

Hey guys..heres a little info on my car..

I am running the APR (Audi Performance and Racing, http://www.goapr.com) EMCS Chip. The chip is the only one on the market that will allow you to toggle through different programs as well as perform a few functions through the cruise control. The programs are as follows:

1) Stock Mode: Allows you to return the car to totally stock program. Any diagnostics done by the dealer computer would never indicate ANY signs of being chipped. I always return the car to stock mode when I go into the dealer.

2) Chipped Mode: Bumps boost to 1 bar along with various and sultry other things.. bumps horsepower from 250 to 307hp and torque from 270 to 366lb/ft.

3) Valet Mode: Limits the car to 4000RPM and 25mph..self explanitory, and really cool.

4) Race Mode: Bumps timing way up and is meant for use only with 100+ octane race fuel. Makes a HUGE difference in performance (15 - 20hp difference with 106 octane unleaded)

You can also erase engine faultcodes and realign the throttle body with the cruise control..very cool stuff.

I have a UUC Shortshifter which is adjustable from 20% - 40% reduction on throws. I currently have it set at 30%. Makes all the difference in the world since the stock shifter feels kind of vague.

Another thing I did was the UUC Velocimax 2 exhaust which has been discontinued due to fittment problems, and let me tell you it was a PAIN to get to fit properly. But this is hands down the best performing exhaust you can get for the car. Its true dual exhaust with 2.75" pipes all the way back. The turbolag that I first had with the stock exhaust and APR chip is GONE, they spool up MUCH faster and allows the car to rev a lot more freely. Very nice sounding although a bit on the loud side for some people (I love it).

Right now the weak link in my car are the DVs (Dump Valves) as they are leaking boost BADLY on the high end. I'm going to be replacing these with Forge or Bailys DVs and also get a Samco Throttle Body Boot so I know i'm not leaking boost anywhere. My best time at Baytown with chip and stock exhaust on pump gas was 13.74@101. I'm hoping to be in the 13.3 - 13.2 range on race gas and aftermarket DVs..its not impossible either since my buddy in Dallas hits those times all the time.

Anyway, hopefully I'll see you guys again soon!
