Default How to add more lumbar support?

OEM seats are not great for lower back support, with little / no way to adjust.

What do you guys do? Use small pillow? Cushion? Recommendations pls!

There was an air pump bladder device you could insert into the seat and pump up the lumbar support needed, haven't seen one on this site for a while but they were floating around in past years, maybe try a search. I hear you about lack of support on the seats, they can be painful on long drives. When I first got my S2000 I didn't want to drive more than 2 hours one way, after a few years of owning the car I got more accustomed to the seats and I was able to drive for longer periods of time.

Give me s bit to look up my source, yet a medical supply site will have a blood pressure bladder and a regulator valve for an inexpensive kit. You can tuck the bladder behind the center of the backrest and the hose and valve tuck on the side of the seat. Pump up as much as you need.

The blood pressure cuff is a good idea!

you’d just insert it behind the center section of the backrest of the seat (the center section isnt connected along the sides so its easy to insert something like this)

Theres also these—“air shims” that work like a blood pressure cuff and come in different sizes—

I wonder if it's the same type available for Miatas; almost 20 years ago I installed those, the brand name was Lewis. Hope with the product. Wouldn't mind those in both the S2000 and my Boxster.
