Default How big are you?

I have been dreaming about owning an S2000 since they first came out. I'm finally in the position to purchase and I have run into a problem. I got to test drive one for the first time yesterday.

I'm 6' tall and about 170 pounds. I was wearing my big work boots at the time and my knee was right up on the left side of the dash. It was kinda upsetting. I have wanted the car for so long and now I might have to go with a miata because the stupid car is not built for anyone over midget size.

Does anyone else have a problem with this? I might gain enough room with a footwear change but it's dang tight.

i'm 6'0 and an athletic 165 and fit no problem. you shouldnt have any problem sitting in there.. but big boots in a sports car is a no no, especially with how close the s2k pedals are. great for heel-toe action.

I'm 5'10 175, no issues, I fit excellent. I think many people expect a lot of unnecesary room from being in other cars. The s2k certainly doesn't have excess room and it isn't supposed to. That 'tight' feel is probably exactly how it's supposed to feel.

As far as trying to drive the S with workboots; you could be 4'9 and it would be a PITA to drive in work boots. I can't really drive any stick car, even an economy car, with boots very well.

I'm 6' 185 lbs and have no issues with fitment. It's suppose to fit like a glove.
Boots?
Loose the boots, make sure the seats all the way back and if it's still to tight then well . . . . I guess it sucks to be you.

weird, 6'4" (170ish?) and I fit just fine.

I have posted in hundreds of these threads and have since stopped but the thing that I found weird in yours is the miata comment. Have you test driven a Miata??? I test drove an NC and I did not fit at all. If you have trouble fitting in the S there is no way in hell you can fit in a Miata...that's crazy talk...
