How to break an s2k owners heart....
I went into the bank today, came out 15 minutes later and someone hit my 6 day old, just polished last night, gleaming black S....Yes, thats right, my baby got hit by some jock fa ggot who then fled the scene...Damage consists of scrape to pass. door and probably going to need a new rear quarter panel. If there is anyway to break the heart of a new s2k owner, this is it....I'm still in disbelief and now realizing I'll never be able to keep my 'baby' as pristine as the day she rolled off the lot. 2002 Berlina black with 28k miles on her in showroom condition...Not anymore....urgh......I'll post a PIC, but It might make your heart sink too...
I'm gonna go sit in her for a bit with a vodka tonic.

Same thing just happened to me... Sorry to hear about it man. First thing i did after the cussing stopped was to come on hear and write my rant. Best advice i got went something like "the more you try to avoid it the more its gonna find you." Kinda made me feel better until i went back into the garage. Best of luck getting her fixed.
sorry to hear about ur loss. maybe you can take solace in the fact that know that you realized that you wont be able to keep it in show room condition, you should feel more freedom driving her everywhere and frequently.

I'll go through insurance and get her fixed, I just hope it doesn't raise my rate when my policy renews. I'm literally making a claim 6 days after I purchase the vehicle. Sickening....If I ever see the **** that parked next to me again I'm going to walk right up to him and punch him in the face. I hope the police at least go look at the persons vehicle but they probably won't and I'll be stuck with the deductable....

Anyway, good thing he was honest and he called me and told me what did happen, and he'll take care of the repair on my TSX via his insurance.
But I know how it feels when someone hits your car parked on the street. It totally sucks

It is quite freeing when you finally realize you can't control everything, so why let it bother you. Once the damage is fixed you'll feel better.
Anytime I find a new scratch or ding on my car I naturally get annoyed but then just shrug it off. Too many idiots out there to constantly worry about your car. Besides, there's always the option to repair.
