How can I take off armrest from the cntr console?

That's bizarre. Because Cyclone sells "wrapped" elbow pads separately....

I guess if OP could pick up just that portion then he could JB weld it on?? I am very particular though, so I would likely just buy the entire center console, just me though.

The leather got wet at a time and is now all messed up. I'll probably just opt for a new center console. Cyclone said he didn't have any spare arm rests to use.

the 04+ is a sperate part, the 00-03 is a welded part. It is not removable.

Can't you send him yours to wrap? He can peel off the water-ruined cover and wrap the plastic plate.

I took mine off, no problem and replaced it with a red piece and a thicker pad.
If it won't just pull off, take off the console top turn it over and you'll see where it's attached.

Be careful taking it off and if it doesn't snap back in, use a solder gun to melt the tips back on.
