So far I've hit a low of 42F with short-sleaves, no jacket, and flip-flops. I'm determined to go for a drive under 20 this winter.

you guys with vinyl rear windows running top down in weather below 50 F run the high risk of the vinyl cracking. Just so you know.
NOOO Primo, I think you cursed me!!! Putting the top down this morning I hear a loud "CRACK". Upon putting it back up I find a 6 inch crack in the window. Probably 65 degrees when it happened

When I left the house this morning, the thermometer said 34*F. Top was down.

My top is always down, hot or cold, rain or shine (unless its raining and I'm sitting in traffic of course). The AC and Heat do wonders on that small cockpit. I don't need to bundle up more than I would be already to go outside.

I haven't had to worry about cracking the the plastic window anymore because I park in my garage. So the top is down to begin with.

Looks like about 70% will put the top down under 50F, and 40% will go under 40F. Not too bad.

Tomorrow it's going to be 53F and sunny in MN, and I'm getting the s2k out on the road!!

I find it hard to concentrate when the "boys" have ASCENDED,
usually around 40F (10F wind chill).

It just feels good to be "wrapped" in a warm place (inside) when there's freezing air on the outside.

But I won't do it when it's below 30...just not worth shivering the whole commute.

Tell me about it. I remember driving w/ the top down on a PERFECT, ideal weather when suddenly that crazy passenger screamed, "please pull over and put the top up! I'm getting a headache from the wind!!"
