i'm gonna admit, i aint that rich, being a college student, and part time worker. how did u guys pay off your ~$35k s2000? some ppl here seems to have pay off their car pretty easily (like, buying more than one s2000?)
i'm thinking of this: pay 5k down payment, then like 400-500/month. is that a good idea? any recommendations for somebody like me, or should i wait til after college when i have a full-time job?

i'm a college student with an S. of course, i'm in a little different boat cuz i'm in a commissioning program for the military and get paid a good amount to do what i do.
personally, i put 12k down, got a 3 year loan @ 3.29%, and pay a little of 600/month i think. plus, i pulled out 20k in college loans to turn her into a show car. of course, 20k wasn't enough, but i'm not stopping til i'm finished.
