How did you choose what colour to get?
Okay so I'm planning on getting a S2000 in the next copule months (I'm not in country right now) and I'm having a hard time deciding on what colour to get. So how did you decide on the colour you have? Convenience? What do you like about the colour you have vs other colours?
What colors are you thinking of? Thier are pros and cons for some. Silver dosent seem to get dirty as easy ware black with a speck of dust you can tell
. But its really personal opinion. I like red and black the best so i just looked for the best deal on a red or black.

I guess just look through the gallery a lot and pick your favorites. Then just be patient when buying...
Silverstone was my first choice, but the only color that I liked that was available at the dealership was Laguna Blue. They offered me a very good price without any BS, so I took it. I still love Silverstone, but you see them everywhere. IMO there isn't a bad color for the S though.
I bought used, so it was what was available.
Originally I wanted white, but those are rare as all get out. So then I really wanted Spa or Rio, but that didn't pan out either.
I did NOT want Silverstone, Sebring, or Berlina under any circumstances.

i originally wanted a black AP1. my mind was totally set on black.
but the only AP1 available a reasonable distance from me was white...
there was a black AP2 even closer by, but i really didn't want an AP2.
basically, i folded and went for the white AP1 and am glad i did.
i think white really gives a car some visual pop.
but i narrowed it down pretty much; any future cars i will buy can either be black or white. ;p

It's all personal preference as everyone said. Here are my takes/opinions:
Black - Too hard to keep clean and it shows every little scratch/mark. My mom has said to me many years ago (when I was a little lad) that a black car only looks good in the showroom. Somehow that stuck with me.
Red - I had a red car before, and to me a red car "might" look cheap depending on what type of car it is and what type of red it is. The S2000 red looks nice, but I already had a red car before.
White - I have always liked white, and it is one of the few combinations that allow for the black/red interior combo, which I love. It's easy to clean, and while it does get dirty easily, you give it a good wash and it looks BRAND new.
Silverstone/Sebring - I have the same opinion on all grey cars no matter if they have "flake" in them or not. A silver/grey car to me NEVER looks new even on the showroom floor. You could get dust sand all over it, and it looks exactly the same. That could be a good thing to some people since the upkeep is easy, but I like to have a shiny new looking car every once in a while (i.e.: whenever I wash it).
Suzuka/Laguna/Monte Carlo/blue - I guess it all depends on the types of blue, as there are so many different kinds. I would entertain getting a Laguna or Monte Carlo S2000, but the Suzuka is too light for me. It's bordering on my opinion of grey above.
Yellow (Rio/Spa) - My opinion on a "flashly" color like this is that I would only get it if I had a really unique/exotic car. I don't feel the S2000 is exotic looking enough, and might end up looking "cheap." I'm getting older (30) and I don't want to be driving a yellow car. Unless I make it big and finally get that Ferrari/Lambo, in which case, it might be pink for all I care!
So yeah, that's it. Remember these are just my opinions, so please don't get offended.

I wanted Laguna, but the wife wanted Rio. We comprimised on both our second fav color, white. In the long run I think its a good choice. I plan on keeping the car a long time. Certain "cool" colors of the moment can look dated in a few years, while "classic" colors like white, black, and to a certain extent red, will seem fresh years down the road. I also believe when you have a dynamic shape such as the S, with its "wedge" shape and aggressive front view, that white provides a clean canvas for the shape to take center stage in a "classy" kind of way.
And MAYBE its my bias, but I seem to notice more people wishing they could have found/bought a white S than any other color.
.....and oh yeah, white is the fastest color.
