Default How do I carry my bicycle?

One of my buddies is trying to sell me his Trek. So the question is, how do you guys carry bikes on your S?

I have a FAPA luggage rack already. Supposedly it can be used as a bike rack, I guess I need to dig it out of my attic.

Thanks.

I usually just grab the top-tube and lift the bike a few inches off of the ground. If you've gotta run, you'll need to put the top-tube over your shoulder.

Trailer hitch and a hitch-mounted bike carrier.

Trailer hitch and Yakima King Pin 2. The Yakima design does not stick out as far as other racks. That way it does not scrape the ground when you go up a steep incline.

Check out Doug Chase at www.chaserace.com He builds hitches for the S

Yeah well it would be easier to lift if your (insert female relative here) would quit hanging on me all the time.

I will look for a trailer hitch and check out the local bike stores for a Yakima rack. Guess I could have asked them to begin with. Thought I'd ask you guys first, people around here tow enormous boats and horse trailers so I'm not so sure that the hitch guys are used to S2000s.
