How do I check my "check engine codes" ??? please?!?
I posted this a couple weeks ago.
I reseted my ecu and drove another 2000+ miles and the CEL came on again. Gas cap is tight.
I'm thinking O2 sensor maybe.
How do I check to see what the code is?
I went to Honda and they said the ONLY way was to hook it up to a PGM thingamajig
. I don't feel like paying them $45 to tell me what the code is when I know theres a way to do it myself. Every Honda I've owned and worked on had a way!!!

I was just wondering about picking up one of those. I have the helms manuals. When I was fighting the yellow box/CEL problem even tho I installed it down under, I knew thats what was kicking it off but i would like to have known for sure without a trip to honda.
Maybe there's a place we can get them cheaper? Group Buy? hmmmm

So theres no way to use a "jumper" like on other Hondas?
On my old civic and my friends civics we just use a "jumper" on one of the plugs and check how many times the CEL blinks.
Just can't find that plug on the S2000.
