Default How do I remove the Engine Start Button?

It says, "A plastic stud and a metel spring hold it in place, Comptess the metal flat spring by pushing the engine start button assembly towards the metal spring side. Then push the plastic stud side inward and forward to remove the start button." I dont understand what the hell the plastic stud or metal flat spring are. Any help?! Before I finally figure it out!!!

Sorry, dude, your link doesn't work for me. But if you are trying to physically remove the switch from the mount ....

It looks to me like in the picture I linked that the metal spring is to the driver door side of the E and the S in "Engine Start".

Maybe push the switch toward the driver door side and try to weasel the opposite side out while pushing the switch out from the rear.

Sorry, man. I'm going to bed.

What are you exactly trying to do? Are you trying to remove the audio controls or just the start button? Honestly I would remove the steering wheel and the controls for the wipers and turn signals so you can pull the whole cluster then unhook the plugs and you will have the whole enchilada sitting in your hand and can get to anything you need - If you do this make sure you disconnect the battery before you mess with the airbag system!

I have everything taken out. The Audio Control module is out of the dash and sitting in my hand. The only thing I cant do is take the start button out of the audio control panel! I dont know whether I am doing it wrong, or what?!
