Default How Do I Remove the Front Seat.........

.....without scraping and bumping my interior? Can the seat be lifted straight up an out? Or will the steering wheel be in the way?

Thanx for any help!

17mm and 15mm sockets (I think ), unbolt the 4 bolts holding the rails down, lift the seat straight up and then flip forward once you get in above the door sill...

It's really quite simple, just have to be careful, as there is only a couple inches of clearance around the rails.

Don't forget to take the seat belt out of the passthrough that it sits in for guidance. But yea, it's easy to take out. Back when I had stock seats, I would take mine out to get the interior as clean as possible by myself. It would, however, be easier to do with another person helping you guide them out.

Also remember (IF you are removing the driver seat) that there is wiring for the seatbelt sensor clipped to the bottom of the seat.....make sure it is disconnected before you go yanking it out.

Never removed the front seat, but the back seat comes out quite easily.
