Default HOW THE #### DO I REMOVE THESE BOLTS!

Im trying to install IZZY brackets but the oem latch on the driver side is bolted on using these crazy looking contraptions and i have no clue how to remove them. Anyone know what to do or at least what they are called so i can remove them? Thanks in advance!

The picture isnt very clear but those look like rivets to me. If they are you have to drill them out. Good luck.

Yeah, they weren't intended to be removed.

Go to this site to read up on them. http://www.mcmaster.com/#rivets/=7jsvx1

No, there are no threads on rivets. Like the other reply stated you need to drill them out using a drill slightly bigger than the hole in the middle.

That's the hardtop latch? Strange all my latches have 2 screws where your rivets are. Even on my soft top. I removed them so they wouldn't make any noise.
