Default How do you remove

I have a Helm manual but it only goes up to MY05. They started adding the underside dash tray on the passenger side in MY06. Anybody know how to remove it?

I already removed the center screw and the two side interior buttons, but it feels like there is more to remove.
I'm afraid to pull any harder, it may break.

(Trying to install the neo iPod adapter)

Thanks,

Where are you mounting you Ipod?

I put in an Ipod adaptor in my 06 and did not have to remove this part.

If you're talking about the new glove compartment/indentation pockets in the MY06+'s, you don't need to remove it to install the neo adapter.

All you need to do is remove the perforated cover near the right side of the stock radio (or adjacent to the passenger's left leg) to access the rear of the stock headunit.

And regarding where I mounted the adapter unit, it stays pretty secure in the side cargo net as there wasn't much room to leave it behind the stock HU. PM me if you need more info.

Btw you never gave me a call regarding that track helmet

Thanks for the answers. In my MY00 all I did was remove the perforated cover, but in my wife's car, (MY06), it doesn't seem to want to come off because the dash extention is in the way. I must be doing this wrong.

It is a little more difficult to remove the cover with the dash extension in the way, yes, but it isn't impossible. You have to slide it "up and away" from the dash compartment, making sure all of the clips are unbound before you yank on it.
