How do you ship a Hard top?

Default How do you ship a Hard top?

I am Thinking about Selling my NFR Hard top and would like to sell it to anyone Nationwide. But i dont know how to ship this huge fragile thing. How would i pack this thing and ship it?

I would contact a local dealer and ask them who they use for their logistics. Usually for large items they rent out a trailer. They send things usually be "freight," or LARGE semi's. They usually charge by the % of the trailer your package occupies. For large items, its usually cheaper than say UPS, FedEx, or DHL. Check your local yellow pages for freight companies.

Pallet
Pictures before it ships off.

Most frieght companies will charge by the pallet which is usually right at $75

I had a Mugen HT shipped to me almost a year ago. Call companies that build crates and find out a price. Then call shipping companies. It really is more cost effective to sell locally.
