OMG, do you have to write a book in every response - you sure like to hear yourself speak!

A well reasoned and thought out response (if a little wordy) and you're busting on the guy?

most AC systems on most cars disengage once above a certain RPM. Like in my 3000GT the compressor is shut off somewhere around 4500-5k I believe. I would be surprised to find that in WOT situations in the s2000 the AC compressor is operating above 6000rpm.
I was in Vtec almost toping 5th gear.

if negcamber and MX are correct about the AC disengagement then maybe you felt the cold air that remains in the system

either way, this thread is alive because of a misunderstanding between negcamber and myself - I understood him to say his car had a significant power loss on AC and I have not felt such power loss - a few more opined and the answers were clearly along the AP1 v AP2 line (which was the reason to close the same argument we have seen many times)

Given the new moderator BS I'm seeing here I'm done with this forum. I'll be on UTH, or R&C, or can be reached via PM or e-mail, but the moderation in ths forum has gone to shit, and I really don't care to be a part of it anymore.

Nice job Alejo. Whoever gave you the job of moderator made a big mistake. You add to the problmes rather than keeping them under control.

/\ too bad you feel so strongly about it. you decided to call me an ignorant unknown (which I can't even figure out what that means) and I responded to you on it.

- I'll see you in R&C
