It handles like a car on a wet road.

I am also one of those Florida guys who have to drive in a lot rain at times. Even when my SO2 rears were going bald at 8,000 miles, I didn't have a problem in the rain. But I didn't push the performance envelope either. I find that adjusting to the weather conditions works for me.

As we all learn as new owners of the s2000 was that the s02 are not much of a weather tire and have good mileage on them. So as for new rear tires I have purchased the bridgestone s03 and it handles the rain conditions much better then the s02 and are still good performance tires.

Next time around when the fronts will have to be replaced as well as the rears, I think I'll try the SO3's.

If you really exceed 100% then you are having to catch a major slide every time you go onto the freeway. This isn't a safe way to drive.

I drive fairly hard and get about 10 to 11K on a set of rears. I am ready to put on my 4th set. (Now 240 40 17)

As far as the rain, the car works as good as any sports car I have ever driven. I find the Formula 1 tread designs work better in the rain than any other tire I have ever used. The S03s are even better than the S02s and would highly recommend them.

Have fun and drive safe.

Never a problem. Even at the dragonball. During the first run it was still raining.

There were 'challenging' moments but as long as you don't
punch the gas the car will do just fine.

Mine handles fine in the rain as long as I take it easy. Drive slower than usual, don't drive as aggressively, give the car smooth inputs, and the car does fine, even on the stock S-02's.

my tires only have 5k miles on them but even though they're still pretty new, i never push the car in the rain. try to avoid standing water and hard turns. if you're going straight, try to go 5-10 mph under the speed limit if its raining hard.
